[Hunan] Huang Shuhui
At That Night the Quiet Water Would Eventually Rise
There is no plum blossom on Meishan, which blooms in the dream
There is water, spring water hiding in grass and trees, which flows from the crack of stones
The tiger is howling in the deep forest
The leopard is running in the moonlight
La- la- la, the night birds are fluttering their wings
The black thriller leap from the pores
You and I, going through a mountain road as a snake wandering right-left
Go to the moon to gather the plum blossom
In August, the sweet osmanthus overshadow the dark earth
Heavy snow is falling in the moonlight
But we don’t gather the plum blossom, we hijack the osmanthus
To hide all their incense to our souls
We store it gift to the plum blossom on the twelfth lunar month
In Meishan, I do once only as a robber king and you do my wife as the first lady
Let the quite water at night rise in the moonlight
Having a bath, you and I might jump into the spring
To wash the dirt, wash the distracting thoughts and wash away the worries
If it is possible, let’s bold a bit
You ride the tiger, I ride the leopard
Let the night birds flying the water around
To collect intelligence for us
