《空山问答》

法大空

禅师、徒儿深山采药

小憩。林间对坐

禅师问：什么声音

徒儿答：松涛之声

又问：什么声音

答：林中鸟鸣

又问：什么声音

答：水蛇越涧

又问：什么声音

答：耳边之风

又问

徒儿微笑

空山无语

Questions A nd A nswers In The Empty Mountain

A Buddhist monk and his disciple gathered medicinal herbs in winding mountain

Short break.Sitting face to face in grove

The master asked:what is the sound

Disciple answered:It is the soughing of the wind in the pines

Asked again:what is the sound

Answered:birdsong in grove

Again:what is the sound

Answered:water snake jumping over the mountain stream

Again:what is the sound

Answered:Wind passing ears.

Asked again

Disciple Smiled

Silence in mountain
