Music, when soft voices die,       乐音，当温柔的声音逝去

Vibrates in the memory --         美妙的余音却依然萦绕在脑际

Odours, when sweet violets sicken,  香馥，当甜美的紫罗兰气息俨然

Live within the sense they quicken. 余香袅袅却能在感觉中弥散

Rose leaves, when the rose is dead,       当玫瑰已然凋零，她的叶子，

Are heap'd for the beloved's bed;         却为心上人堆成温床

And so thy thoughts when thou are gone,    同样，当你已经逝去，你的思想

Love itself shall slumber on.             却让人们深深地爱上
