（Untitled）➀

She dwelt among the untrodden ways
Beside the springs of Dove➁，
A Maid whom there were none to praise
And very few to love：

A violet by a mossy stone
Half hidden from the eye!
—Fair as a star，when only one
Is shining in the sky.

She lived unknown，and few could know
When Lucy ceased to be；
But she is in her grave，and，oh，
The difference to me!

➀这是“露西组诗”之一。
➁英格兰中部德比郡、北部约克郡、西北部威斯特摩兰郡各有一条达夫河，这三条小河华兹华斯都到过。




无题

她住在达夫河的上头，
那地方荒无人烟，
小姑娘受不到人们的夸赞，
也得不到喜欢。

一支紫罗兰长在苔石旁
寂寞忽隐忽现，
美如一颗星，
独自闪烁在天边。

露西，活着无人挂念，
走了亦无人可怜，
她已经埋进坟墓里，噢，
与我相距遥远。
