Writing
The pen, is not a pen any more
The paper is not a piece of paper, either.
Someone has been here and gone in the light.
Forty-eight thousand lotuses,
Only this one,
blooms in my heart.
A no-sad Tree
The sadness gathered around, being a lake.
The tree still insisted to say,
“I know nothing.”
Buddha was born under the tree,
While the seven golden lotuses sprang from the earth
are the pride of the tree.
Reading the Letter
The letter paper looks at me,
The expression is so complex,
A face is thousands miles away from me.
The pen can’t believe the handwriting is true.
Maybe my eyes are not important.
The sky, is really empty.
The fragrance from my soul
This is a rising road,
It leads to my heart.
I am sitting before a candle
Silence is like
a big green umbrella.
A world map
The whole world is in my heart,
at the moment of
a glance of mine.
It is just like
a few uneasy sleeping lotuses.
They are blooming in a blue pond.
Short poems in JiZu Mountain
1
One
Leaves cover all the steps,
Just like the songs of the travelers,
They are lost in the wind.
2
Two
The sunlight go through the bamboo forest,
A piece of cobweb and the Buddhist text in my hand
are lit up.
3
Three
The smoke is rising before the Buddha-hall,
It is like the unclearly wishes
of the pilgrims.
4
Four
Under the bell tower,
A basin of quiet narcissus
is exuding fragrance alone.
5
Five
At dusk, there are no pilgrims and monks
in Xuyun Temple,
Only the birds’ chirps leave in the sky.

Yacon
Someone said, you are from South America,
You are something magical of Indian.
I meet you in Yunnan
in my yard of Xia Ji Yi.
Maybe the simple of things is in
your branches, leaves and flowers.
Usually, they are named sunflowers
at the first glance of people.
But your fruits are underground.
Yacon ,Yacon,
When I see your branches and leaves,
I will think of your silently growing in the soil,
as the beautiful wishes of those mediators.
Peanuts
I mean
Peanuts must be eaten without any processing.
I do eat them by this way.
I have planted them in a yard of my delicate abode.
They bloomed, crawled along the earth,
Then they bore nuts underground.
I ever grew peanuts in an old teacup,
Not for the nuts,
but for the green .
Mountains Outside of the Windows
Through the window lattice, I saw
Tsang Mount is lighted by the morning sun.
Still, there is snow,
Still, there are white clouds as ribbons
They are twining the arms of the spring.
Quietly, seeing all of them,
I think, this is an usual spring.
Cherries are blossoming,
Azaleas are blossoming, too.
However,
Those legend stories have not happened yet.
Send Dawn to Jizu Mount
When the car came before the door of the temple,
It is already dark. It rained quietly
in the night darkness.
Neither of us said a word.
The temple was so quiet that the lamp can’t breathe any more.
Along the green stone steps
We looked for the world of nuns.
Always, you surprised others.
When the God stunned,
You began a new calculation of life.
I only endless repeated
the mantras which is sung so hot,
"wong, ma, ni, bei, mei, hong"
Maybe it is easy to step a new road,
While to cut the flowing river all years behind us
is so difficult, difficult and difficult.
Celery
Its fragrance and name came from Tang Dynasty.
A bowl of celery noodles came down till now.
Now, I praise it
Cause the uncommon traits of it in true life
Still leave fragrance between my lips.
