As virtuous men pass mildly away,                  犹如高尚之士安然离世，
And whisper to their souls to go,                     对灵魂轻声说一句，走
Whilst some of their sad friends do say,           而悲伤的朋友们却对着最后一丝气息
The breath goes now, and some say, no;         有的说断了，有的说还没有；

So let us melt, and make no noise,                  就让我们融合，没有声响 ；           
No tear-floods, nor sigh-tempests move ;         没有洪水之泪，也无暴风之叹。
'Twere profanation of our joys                         那定会亵渎我们的欢愉之情，                                       
To tell the laity our love.                                 若将我们的爱告知那些懵懂之人。

Moving of th' earth brings harms and fears ;     当地球的运动带来伤害和惊恐；
Men reckon what it did, and meant ;                人们只能暗自揣测其缘由，和征兆；
But trepidation of the spheres,                         而天体运行产生的震动                 
Though greater far, is innocent.                       虽然威力更大，却从不酿成灾祸。

Dull sublunary lovers' love                               那些无聊的凡俗之爱，

But we by a love， so much refined,                而我们独有的爱，如此纯粹，

Such wilt thou be to me, who must,                   你之于我恰如此，而我必是
Like th' other foot, obliquely run ;                      圆规的另一只脚，斜着身子旋转；
Thy firmness makes my circle just,                     你的坚定使我划得圆完美，
