Such indestructible is the force
That holds a black banner higher and higher
Lifting lives and the human
Cities spring up like surging waves that
Chase up the soul
While life must follow the “development”, and keep spinning
Whirl throws off the truth and faith
This is the huge whirlpool! It drives us
And the world to swift
Strangers--- Taoists of Lao-tzu and Chuang-tzu sleeping
In history books
Take looks at us. They don’t know that
People and merchandise both have been displayed in the showcase
We slipped into the dark pit
Operated ourselves in suture, again armed by it unconsciously
Finally we became a desert island, then went out
Besieged by more islands

这是一种不可摧毁的力量
它举着黑色的旗帜，高高地
吊起生命，吊起人类
城市，一波一波地站起来
它，追赶灵魂
而生活配合着“发展”，一再旋转
旋转，将真理和信仰远远地甩出去
这巨大的漩涡！它带动
我们和世界一起高速运作
陌生人，史书上安睡的老庄们
正在观望我们。他们不知道
人和商品一起被送上柜台陈列
我们走进黑夜的掩体
缝合自己，又莫名地武装自己
成为一座荒岛，走出去
被更多的荒岛围困

引导它，化害为利。
