似乎不可以省略。我搜索了“poem +father"，没有看到省略的例子（除了称呼），反而都是支持我的说法。

当然有例子。 查 mother 。

Mother 也查不到。只查到 “I love you, Mother, I have woven a wreath”, 这相当于称呼，当然可以。没有查到 Mother did this, Mother did that, 一般家庭成员之间这么说话。查到的是 A mother, the mother, my mother. 随机选一首贴上来（真的是随机选的）。

My dear mother unlike any other,

You taught me how to walk,
And you taught me how to talk.
You provided a roof over my head,
And always made sure I was feed.

You taught me morals and standards,
The meanings of living and all about giving.
What a wonderful, beautiful, thoughtful intelligent mother I have,
And you make me truly glad.

Whenever I've had issues

例子很少。 但确实有。
