英 诗《 Tagore's Gitanjali（47） 》汉 译 《 泰 戈 尔 - 吉 檀 迦 利（47）- 遗 愿 》



        拉宾德拉纳特 · 泰戈尔（Rabindranath - Tagore / 1861—1941），印度诗人、文学家、社会活动家、哲学家和印度民族主义者。代表作有《吉檀迦利》、《飞鸟集》、《眼中沙》、《四个人》、《家庭与世界》、《园丁集》、《新月集》、《最后的诗篇》、《戈拉》、《文明的危机》等。 [1]1861年5月7日，拉宾德拉纳特·泰戈尔出生于印度加尔各答一个富有的贵族家庭，13岁即能创作长诗和颂歌体诗集。1878年赴英国留学，1880年回国专门从事文学活动。1884至1911年担任梵 社秘书，20年代创办国际大学。1913年，他以《吉檀迦利》成为第一位获得诺贝尔文学奖的亚洲人。1941年写作控诉英国殖民统治和相信祖国必将获得独立解放的遗言《文明的危机》。
      《飞鸟集》是诗人泰戈尔创作的诗集，它包括325首清丽的无标题小诗，首次出版于1916年。这些诗的基本题材多为极其常见事物，不外乎小草、落叶、飞鸟、星辰、河流等等。由于诗人忠实于自己的思想，具有敏锐洞察自然、社会的能力和一支善于表达心曲的妙笔，这些形似只言片语的小诗就蕴涵了丰富的思想、深奥的哲理，表现出一种清新明快、优美隽永的风格。《飞鸟集》在世界各地被译为多种文字版本，对于中国的“小诗运动”的产生与发展具有推动作用。

The night is nearly spent waiting for him in vain. I fear
lest in the morning he suddenly come to my door when
I have fallen asleep wearied out. Oh friends, leave the
way open to him -- forbid him not. If the sounds of his

夜，阑珊，等他，已枉然；怕只怕，清晨在即，
清晨在即，我倦眠不醒，而他，突然来到我门前；
喂——朋友们：这条路，留给他，不要阻止他，
拜托，不要惊动我，纵他脚步声，没有弄醒我；


steps does not wake me, do not try to rouse me, I pray. I wish
not to be called from my sleep by the clamorous choir of birds,
by the riot of wind at the festival of morning light. Let me sleep
undisturbed even if my lord comes of a sudden to my door.

啊——但愿啊但愿，晨曦中的喧闹，曙光中的汇演——
那唱诗班的鸟儿们，不会吵醒我，不会再添乱；
让我安安静静，安安静静入梦眠，
即便我的主，哦——猝然现身我门前；


Ah, my sleep, precious sleep, which only waits for his touch to vanish. Ah, my closed eyes that would open
their lids only to the light of his smile when he stands before me like a dream emerging from darkness of
sleep. Let him appear before my sight as the first of all lights and all forms. The first thrill of joy to my
awakened soul let it come from his glance. And let my return to myself be immediate return to him.

珍奇啊——罕见，我的梦眠，他来触动，即可消散；如梦啊——如幻，带着笑脸，有他进视线，
我将睁开双眼；啊——绽现吧，让他华光溢彩，让他丰姿万千，让他辉煌炫丽，让他气宇空前；
啊——绽现吧，绽现，让欢欣鼓舞，让心灵复苏，从他眼中，喷薄而出；啊——绽现吧，绽现，

景中的幻影站到我身前微笑时，我闭着的眼睛才会睁开，让他作为/以一种前
所未有的，多姿多彩，多维，通透的发光体出现在我面前吧，让史无前例的，令人振奋的
