你把头颅安在了我们的肩上 你把手送给了断臂的人
挺起胸膛 你仍在大步行走
欣慰的是 你不再看别人的脸色
不管是王公贵族还是草根 你都擦肩而过

注:《行走的人》中塑造的是一个人大步向前的动态。雕像没有头部和双臂,但在这残缺的躯干下,观者能感觉到作品中蕴涵的无穷动能,一人坚定地走在风云叱咤的大气里。可是如果我们仔细观察这一行走的动作,就会发现,这样的动作在现实中是不存在的。也就是说,这似乎违背了自然。然而,对于自然,罗丹始终将其奉为艺术家心中的女神,认为只有怀着对自然恭敬之心,并真实表现自然的艺术家,才是真正优秀的。

Note: The Walking Man is a piece workof dynamic shape with big step forward. The statue has no head and arms, but through this mutilated torso, the viewer can feel the implication of infinite motive power in the work. One man firmly walks in stormy air. But if we carefully observe the actions of this walk, you will find that this action does not exist in reality. That is, it seems to be contrary to the natural. However, for natural, Rodin always regards it as the artist's goddess.He thinks that only with the heart of natural respect, the arts who truly represents the nature is really excellent.
